Property owners play an active role in shaping how the community grows and operates.
Baja Coastal Properties will establish the initial vision and standards to ensure fairness, sustainability, and long-term property value.
As Rancho Escondido grows and 50% of the lots are sold, elected property owners will begin helping guide the community’s future.
HOA fees support essential shared services including gated access, road maintenance, and community infrastructure.
Emergency Services:
- Emergency Numbers: Flat tire, mechanic, ambulance, or lifeflight services.
- Helicopter Pad: Ready for emergency or transport flights to hospital.
- Security Guard Assistance: Available on-site to provide support.
Please note: Emergency services in Mexico operate differently than in the U.S. Response times can be slower, upfront payments are typically required, and cash is often necessary. Large hospitals often accept cards, are way less expensive, and often covered by U.S. travel insurance.
A Secure Property
A full-time security guard and caretaker is on the property and available 24 hours a day to assist you. There is internet, electricity, and bathrooms at the caretaker center.
A rustic, off-grid, secure community, Rancho Escondido is a fully approved Mexican subdivision.

Houses will be solar powered (systems average 20K and under)
Water will be delivered by truck to your home at market value. Either from our well, or from nearby farms.
(typically 4 weeks of water could be 100-200 dollars based on usage)

Energy

Near the guards center, a place to get basic assistance, greet guests, and get free internet and electricity. Light snacks, water, ice, electricity, and water. Logistics for guest arrivals, and telephone assistance.
Note: While we do want to proved things to help such as coffee, ice, and some other basics, this will be different than a store, and please plan to bring food with you!
The community gathering space is perfect for socializing and relaxation: 3 BBQ grills. Seating for 20 people. Shade palapas and additional amenities.
Located next to the guard house, this is a great spot to meet neighbors and enjoy the community.
